Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Jasper County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be kept for as long as needed to respond and manage the exchange. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the website's systems can receive routine technical details about that visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device to help measure how the website is used, including popular pages and exit points. Analytics providers may combine that activity into traffic reports. A visitor can block cookies through browser controls, although doing so may change how some website functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Jasper County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of case files or personal court-record data. Its content identifies the clerks, courts, and Georgia access systems that hold official records. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or third-party case profile.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the search-box services. Information submitted through a box is governed by that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider sets its own rules for retention and disclosure, beyond this site's control. Review those terms before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Throughout the site we link to clerk of court pages, trial court portals, statewide case-search systems, legal aid groups, and third-party search tools. Clicking any of those links takes you off our site. At that point, their privacy policy governs your visit. Read it before sharing any personal details.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used for collected data. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute protection, however, so Jasper County Court Docket cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. A person who believes a minor supplied such information may contact the operator to request its deletion.
Your Data Rights
Georgia law may provide additional privacy or consumer protections based on the data and context. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-70 et seq., governs access to qualifying government records, not visitor data held by this private site. At a minimum, you can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices change. Any revised text will be posted here with a replacement effective date, so visitors should return periodically to review the current terms.
